Justice Isa Hamma Dashen of the Federal High Court Yenagoa, has cleared former President Goodluck Jonathan to contest the Presidential election in 2023.
The Judge ruled on Friday that the former President is eligible to contest the 2023 presidential election.
The presiding judge, Justice Isa Hamma Dashen who delivered the judgement on Friday said that Jonathan has the right contest in the forthcoming election which cannot be taken away by any retroactive law.
The Network investigation suggests that the leadership of the APC is inclined to grant a waiver to the former President to contest.
Meanwhile, the former President has not made any public pronouncements on his move in the unfolding political situation.
