CBN LIFTS RESTRICTIONS ON DOMICILIARY ACCOUNTS

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has lifted restrictions on domiciliary accounts in the country.

The apex bank said in a statement on Sunday that  with the lifting of the restrictions, customers “shall have unfettered and unrestricted access to funds in their accounts.”

The bank’s statement was issued after a meeting with the Bankers’ Committee on Sunday.

The meeting focused on the recent operational changes at the foreign exchange market, the implementation and implications of the new policy on the public.
