BREAKING: Supreme Court To Deliver  Judgement in Atiku, Obi  Case against Tinubu On Thursday

The Supreme Court of Nigeria has slated Thursday, Oct. 26, to deliver judgement in the appeals lodged by the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Mr Peter Obi and his counterpart in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

Recall that both Atiku and Obi, who are displeased with the judgement of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, which dismissed their petitions against Tinubu’s election victory, filed appeals at the apex court.

The supreme court, on Monday, reserved judgment in the appeal brought by Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate for the 2023 election, challenging the election of President Bola Tinubu.

Justice Inyang Okoro who is the leader of the seven-member panel of the apex court reserved judgment after parties in the appeal adopted their respective briefs of arguments on Monday.

The Inyang Okoro-led panel also listened to presentations from lawyers representing the two parties on the motion filed by Atiku to supply fresh evidence on documents allegedly forced.

Mr Chris Uche (SAN) had prayed the court to disqualify Tinubu on the strength of fresh evidence supplied in his before the court and allow the appeal
