The Supreme Court has been gutted by an early morning fire.
The Network investigation revealed that the fire affected the Justices chamber in the apex court and has affected some of their offices.
A source who confided in our correspondent said that the fire started around 6 am.
It was gathered that the cleaners on duty and some of the workers who resumed early for work detected the fire and raised the alarm.
The concerned workers were said to have used the fire extinguishers in the building to combat the fire as the Fire Service van in the premises was not functional.
The workers were said to have contacted the National Judicial Council and the Fire Service office in Wuse 2, to get help.
There are report that the offices of three of the justices are seriously affected.
The Supreme Court is located at the Three Arms Zone of Abuja, which also home to the Presidential Villa and the National Assembly.
