The Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of Anambra State Internal Revenue Service, (AiRS), Mr Richard Nwora Madiebo, has resigned from his position.

Nadiebo disclosed his decision to quit the job  to members of staff of the agency at Revenue House, Agu Awka on Thursday.

The Network gathered Mr Madiebo had already informed Gov. Chukwuma Soludo of his decision to quit the job.

Madiebo was said to have withheld the reason behind the sudden decision.

“He did not state any reason for leaving from the position, although he hinted that he informed the governor when he was taking the job that he would only serve for a year,” the source said.

However speculations are rife that he may have resigned due to clash in responsibilities with Dr. Christian Madubuko, a former Commissioner under Gov. Willie Obiano, who was appointed an Executive Director of AIRS by Gov. Soludo months ago.
