BENZ GLB CAR STOLEN IN ABUJA DURING TEST DRIVE FOUND IN DELTA 

Delta State Police Command has recovered a Mercedes Benz GLB 250 worth N55 million stolen by a suspected car thief posing as a buyer during test driving in Abuja.

The alleged car thief posed as a customer to test drive the car and fled with it on June 30, 2023

The car was abandoned in a bush along Oteri Road by the Doctors Quarters in Ughelli, and was recovered by operatives of the CP-Decoy Squad on Monday, July 3.

The Auto dealer, one Mohammed Manga, announced the recovery in his Twitter account, stating that the car was found on Tuesday, July 4, 2023.

Manga shared a picture of the alleged car thief, and twitted: “Alhamdulillah, its OFFICIAL‼️

“The Stolen Car (MERCEDES BENZ GLB-250, 2021 MODEL) Was found today 4th July, 2023 in NIGER DELTA (ASABA)!

“Therefore thanks to our Friends&Fam, twitter fam and our distinguished colleagues this is All YOUR GREATNESS…Thanks once again🙏”

Recall that the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command, declared the suspect, identified simply as Henry, wanted.

He was alleged to have absconded with the car during a test drive in Abuja.

The police made the declaration after a car dealer, one Mohammed Manga, reported the incident to the command.
