BAYELSA SPEAKER, INGOBERE, TANTITA SECURITY SERVICES,  OBRIKI, OTHERS CELEBRATE TOMPOLO AT 52

Thousands of youths besieged the streets of Warri on Wednesday to celebrated High Chief Government Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo who clocked 52.

The youths stormed the oil city in white colour shut down Warri, Delta State to celebrate the Tantita Security Services boss for what they described his selfless contribution to the Ijaw Nation and the Niger Delta.

The Speaker of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Abraham Ingobere, Tantita Security Services Limited and several activities across the Niger Delta were also among people who poured encomiums on Tompolo.

In felicitating with the former Leader of the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta, the Bayelsa Speaker prayed to God to continue to bless him and grant him many more years in life.

Similarly, indigenous security outfit involved in the monitoring the nation’s oil pipelines and the fight against crude oil theft in the country, Tantita Security Services also prayed for High Chief Tompolo as he turned 52, wishing him well.

The firm which rejoiced  with  Tompolo who is its chairman,  joined others in praying to God to protect and preserve him.

Similarly, the House of Representatives candidate of All Progressives Congress APC for Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency, Delta State, in the last election, Hon. Tamarankro Obriki congratulated the former MEND leader describing him as a foremost leader of the Niger Delta struggle.

He described Tompolo as a custodian of the struggle of the Ijaws for emancipation in the Niger Delta.

“On behalf of my family and friends ,well wishers and supporters from my Bomadi/patani enclave and accross the globe, I congratulate and celebrate with you ( Tompolo) on this auspicious occasion of your birthday anniversary

“As Moses was to the Israelites, so you are to the Ijaw nation. As Sultan Osman Ghazi was to the Turkish people of the Ottoman Dynasty so you are now to the Ijaw people. You remain the touch bearer, the spiritual leader of our race, the keeper of both the old and new gods.

“Tompolo is the custodian of our struggle for emancipation in Ijaw nation and the Emir of our aquactic geography. May Almighty God keep you with us and for us for so many years to come in good health and in peace. It’s truly your mandate that is our mandate.” He said 

Also, the Chairman Bayelsa State Water Ways Security, Chief Weris Tike and several others joined in felicitating with the foremost activist.

He commended Tompolo for his sustained contribution and love to thousands of youths and people in the Niger Delta.
