News Investigators/ The Tinubu Media Volunteers (TMV) have noted with joy the clarion call of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Nigerians living in Japan to return home and contribute to the country’s development and growth.
In a statement signed by their Chairman, Chukwudi Enekwechi, and Secretary, Segun Ogedengbe, TMV said it was a good call, especially now that the economy is stable and on the path of growth.
”During his recent interaction with the Nigerian community in Japan, the president had reassured them that on his watch, the country was making significant economic progress, expanding opportunities and reversing medical tourism.
”More importantly, he informed the Nigerian community that the economic reforms his administration had put in place were already yielding the desired results with the stabilisation of the naira to other foreign currencies, as well as the availability of fuel in the country and a surge in agricultural activities. This is indeed a statement of fact.
”We also acknowledge that President Tinubu had made a clarion call on the Nigerian citizens to return and join in the rebuilding of the country, and restated that the country needs their input for economic growth and opportunities.
”We wish to reiterate that with the President’s interface with Nigerians in Japan, it is obvious that under his leadership, the country is now a land of opportunities where wealth creation and realisation of dreams are on the rise.
”It is our belief that their exposure and experience will bode well for Nigeria and its people,” the statement added.
The group called on Nigerians living in Japan and others in the diaspora to hearken to the clarion call and contribute their quota towards building a country to be proud of.
