ARMY ARRESTS THREE SOLDIERS IN ZAMFARA FOR COLLABORATING, SELLING AMMUNITION TO TERRORISTS

The authorities of the Nigerian Army have arrested three soldiers for selling ammunition to terrorists and bandits and collaborating with them in Zamfara State.

The Network investigation revealed that a private soldier Bala Nura was picked up my military intelligence over about 470 missing ammunition at an Army Forward Operation base in Galadi, Shinkafi Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

It was gathered that the intelligence officers of the Army discovered shockingly that Nura and two other soldiers might have been collaborating with the bandits and terrorists responsible of uncountable heinous crimes against humanity in the area.

Upon his arrest and interrogation, Nura confessed to have sold over one hundred rounds of 7.63 MM Specual ammunition at N100,000 each.

It was learnt that the Army interrogators were further shocked when the soldier told them that he had a deal to sell one thousand rounds of
7.63 MM Special ammunition to the terrorists at the sum of one million Naira.

The Army authorities are also investigating two lance corporals for allegedly collaborating with bandits in the ongoing military operation in Zamfara State.

The Network gathered that all the three soldiers have been moved to the Joint Intelligence Fusion Centre for holistic investigation.

A source who confided in the Network said that the three soldiers are most likely to face court martial for their suspected unpatriotic and ignominious actions.
