Armed Herdsmen Invade Benue community, Kill 6

Suspected armed Fulani herdsmen, on Friday, invaded Tse Alashi, Kaambe village in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State and reportedly killed six members of the community.

It was learnt that the six people were gruesomely murdered on the bank of Ageh Fishing Pound located in the community

Chief Press Secretary to Benue State Governor, Mr. Nathaniel Ikyur, confirmed the ugly development.

The Governor’s Aide, said that the Special Adviser to Governor Samuel Ortom on Security Matters, Lt. Col. Paul Hemba, broke the news of the attack .

“This afternoon, Fulani terrorists invaded Tse Alashi, Kaambe community in Guma Local Government Area of Benue killing six persons on their farms.

“The Adviser on security matter confirm the incident to me.” He said

Spokesperson for the Benue State police command, SP Sewuese Anene could not be reach as at the time of filling this report.
