The former Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, and former Senate spokesman, Ajibola Basiru have been appointed as the National Chairman and National Secretary, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), respectively.
The National Working Committee, NWC, and the party’s National Executive Committee, NEC, ratified the appointment of Ganduje at the NEC meeting of the party held at the Congress Hall of Transcorp Hilton in Abuja.
NEC also approved the appointment of the Senate’s former spokesman, Ajibola Basiru, as National Secretary, of the party.
Ganduje replaced Senator Abdullahi Adamu, who was forced to resign from his position over sundry allegations against him, while Bashiru would replace the Osun state former deputy governor, Iyiola Omisor
The meeting was attended by President Bola Tinubu and the Vice President, Kassim Shetimma.
