Federal Capital Territory High Court, Abuja on Wednesday, ordered a restraining order on the National Chairman of the Labour Party, Mr Julius Abure, National Secretary, Farouk Ibrahim, and two others from continuing as national officers of the party for alleged forgery of court documents.

Justice Hamza Muazu issued the restraining orders, while ruling on an ex-parte application presented by James Onoja (SAN).

In the ruling, the court also slammed the  restraining order on the National Organising Secretary, Mr Clement Ojukwu and the Treasurer.

Arguing on the application, Onoja told the court how the restrained National officers allegedly forged several documents of the FCT High Court to carry out unlawful substitutions in the last general elections.

He said they forged the receipts, seal and affidavits, other documents of the Court to carry out criminal activities.

Onoja, however, tendered several documents, affirming to the Judge that the Chief Registrar of the Court, wrote the Labour Party to disown several documents used for the alleged criminal activities by Abure and three others.

According to Onoja, the four people would face prosecution in court adding that warrants for their arrest have already been issued and obtained.

Justice Muazu, while delivering ruling said the application and the supporting affidavits are a good case for the request to be granted.

He ordered that the four people should immediately stop parading themselves as National Officers of Labour Party.
