News Investigators/ Former president Olusegun Obasanjo, alongside other eminent leaders and global health experts are expected at the unveiling of the Care365 Health Hub, scheduled to hold in Abuja.
The event, which would hold at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre is billed for Sept. 2.
Ngozi Odumuko, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of the Care365 Health Hub, said this in statement on Monday.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the hub is a transformative healthcare innovation, conceived in the United States and now to be launched in Nigeria.
Mr Odumuko explained that the Care365 Mobile Clinic is a flexible, innovative healthcare solution designed to reach underserved and remote communities, ensuring that essential medical services and consultations are available and closer to vulnerable populations.
He said the Care365 Telemedicine Mobile and Web App enables seamless virtual consultations with doctors, offering e-prescriptions, referrals, medical record management, and continuous patient engagement, bridging gaps in healthcare access nationwide.
He added that the Specialist Doctors Pool is a network of skilled physicians from Nigeria, the United States, Europe, Canada, and Asia, offering global-standard expertise and specialist care through the hub.
Mr Odumuko said the event would be led by former Head of State, Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar, the Chief Host and Chairman of Care365 Health Hub, who would be the driving force behind the innovation.
According to him, Obasanjo will chair the event and preside over the unveiling.
“The coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate, is expected to commission the innovation.
“Former president Goodluck Jonathan will serve as Guest of Honour at the event.
“ FCT Minister, Mr Nyesom Wike, state governors, ministers, senior officials, private sector leaders, international partners, and industry captains are also expected.”
Care365’s Mobile Health Clinics are designed to bridge the health gaps by delivering on-site consultations, screenings, and preventive care directly to the people and communities.
The initiative seeks to reduce the urban-rural healthcare divide and reach vulnerable groups such as the elderly, low-income families, and persons with mobility challenges.
This will in turn, promote health equity and community well-being, aligning with national and global goals to improve universal health coverage.
