News Investigators/ The Speaker, House of Representatives, Abbas Tajudeen, has congratulated the Etsu Nupe, Yahaya Abubakar, on his 73rd birthday and 22nd anniversary on his enthronement.
This is contained in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Musa Krishi, on Saturday, in Abuja.
Mr Abbas, who saluted the Etsu’s leadership acumen, said that the royal father, has positive impact on the affairs of the country.
The Speaker hailed Abubakar for his incredible service to the country as an officer of the Nigerian Army who retired at the enviable rank of Brigadier-General and later as Etsu Nupe, a first-class traditional leadership position in Niger.
He noted the Etsu’s fatherly and wise counsel to political leaders in the country and commended him for being a peacemaker, bridge-builder and elder statesman uniting the country.
The Speaker prayed to Allah to keep Abubakar for more years in good health, while his reign will continue to record peace and prosperity for the Nupe Kingdom.
