A middle aged man whose name was given as Ben Matthew, on Tuesday, reportedly stabbed his wife to death in Konshisha Local Area of Benue State, following a little misunderstanding that ensued between them.
The Network gathered that the incident happened on Tuesday in a community know as Korinya city in Konshisha Local Government Area of the State.
A source alleged that the couple have been married for more than ten years, living happily before misunderstanding set in over who owns properties.
The source who spoke to our correspondent on condition of anonymity further said, the couple had a misunderstanding on Tuesday morning, which friends and neighbors tried to resolve before the husband stabbed her to death .
She revealed that the reconciliation meeting failed as the man and his wife resumed fighting and he stabbed her in her chest.
The source said the woman, a mother three died instantly.
