An HIV/AIDS infected woman has confessed how she mixed her blood in Zobo drink she produces and sells to unsuspecting members of the public.
The unidentified woman made the confession in a phone in radio programme with Wazobia FM Marketrunz on Wednesday night.
She said she committed the sickening, heinous act because she did want to die alone.
The lady who claimed to have worked as a nurse told the anchor of the programme that she used a syringe to extract the corrupted blood from her system to mix it with the fruit drink before selling to the public.
She was responding to a call by the anchor of the programme to listeners to make confessions about things they have done wrong that they regret.
She said “I went to the hospital six months ago and I was told I had HIV.
“I started mixing my blood with the zobo I make to sell and I sell to many people.
“I extract my blood with a syringe and mix it in the zobo. I was a nurse before but when I was confirmed HIV positive, I had to stop.
“I’m not happy with what I have done but I am happy that I will not die alone.”
When the Network contacted the Spokesperson of the FCT Police Command, Josephine Adeh, she said that no formal complaint had begun lodged against the anonymous woman.
However, she said that the police would contact the Radio station to get the particulars of the woman who has confessed to contamination Zovoe with HIV infested blood to sell to the residents of the FCT.
