EKWEREMADU APPEARS BEFORE COURT OVER ALLEGED ORGAN HARVESTING, CHILD-TRAFFICKING

The Uxbridge Magistrate Court, UK, on Thursday adjourned till July 7, the hearing and trial of the former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, for alleged organ harvesting and modern slavery charges preferred against him by the UK Police.

He will on July 7 appear before a judge at Westminster Magistrate court. His wife was absent at today’s proceeding.

During the trial, the Nigerian Senator was docked where he introduced himself and confirmed his date of birth to the jury.

The Network gathered that his two sons accompanied him to the court.

The prosecution maintaned its initial statement that the case involved a child making it a modern slavery.

Ekweremadu and his wife were arrested by the Metropolitan Police and charged for alleged child-trafficking to the UK for organ harvesting.
