Houses of Reps impeaches Trump for a record second time in four years

The US House of Representatives has impeached President Donald Trump for a record second time in four years.

The House impeached the President for “incitement of insurrection” and conduct which encouraged the invasion of the US Capitol by his supporters seeking to prevent the election of President elect, Joe Biden.

The lawmakers voted 232 to 197 to impeach Trump who becomes the first US President to be impeached twice.

     Ten Republican lawmakers joined      the     Democrats to impeach the Twitter loving President.

       His impeachment came a day after Vice President Mike Pence said he would not invoke the 25th amendment to declare Trump unfit to continue.

      House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said while signing the article òf impeachment on Wednesday that the impeachment of Trump showed that nobody, including the President, is above the law.
