•••Another King Escape Kidnap Attempt
Gunmen have killed two traditional rulers in Ekiti State.
Those murdered by the suspected kidnappers are the Onimojo of Imojo Ekiti in Oye Local Government Area and Elesun of Esun Ekiti in Ajoni, Ikole Local Government Area of Ekiti State.
The Network gathered that the late traditional rulers were returning from a meeting in the state when they ran into the gunmen on Monday, January 29, 2024.
The Network gathered that a third traditional ruler, Alara of Ara in Ikole Local Government Area, was lucky to have escaped a kidnap attempt on him.
It was learnt that the gunmen waylaid the monarchs and attempted to abduct them between Oke-Ako and Ipao-Ekiti in Ajoni Local Government Area of the state
