As preparations intensify ahead of the 2023 presidential elections, the Labour Party on Wednesday released a list of its Presidential Campaign Council consisting of 1,234 members.
The list was disclosed during a press conference in Abuja.
The list was released 14 days after the official commencement of campaigns for the forthcoming 2023 general election.
The Campaign Council retains its Dr Doyin Okupe as it Director General.
A look at the list shows Ambassador Oseloka Obaze, as Deputy Director-General/Campaign Manager; Alh. Yusuf BelloMaitama, Deputy Director-General North; and Mr. Denzel Kentebe, Deputy Director-General South.
Mr. Isaac Balami and Mrs Eyitemi Taire were appointed as Deputy Campaign Managers.
The LP also appointed one coordinator for each of the 36 states of the federation and a coordinator each for the six geopolitical zones in the country.
The party also appointed a Presidential Advisory Council under the Chairmanship of Barr Julius Abure.
