By Nuel Suji, Abuja – President Muhammadu Buhari has forwarded a second batch of ministerial nominees to the Senate, even as the Red Chamber commenced Committee screening for the first set of nominees on Monday.
Mr. Buhari sent the list on Monday afternoon through his Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, who submitted the list to the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki.
Kyari was accompanied by the two Senior Special Assistants to the President on National Assembly Matters, Ita Enang and Suleiman Kawu.
It would be recalled that the President sent the first batch which comprised 21 nominees to the senate on Thursday, September 30.
However, unlike the first list which was rightly speculated in the media, the second list remains unknown yet unknown as at press time.
The names are expected to be made public tomorrow at plenary when the Senate President is expected to read the correspondence from the President
