The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Wednesday released the notice of election into the office of the President for the general elections slated for next year.
The commission also released dates for the elections into the National Assembly, governorship and State Houses of Assembly.
According to the Notice, election into the offices of the president and National Assembly will hold on 14th February 2015, while that of the governors and State Houses of Assembly is slated for 28th February 2015.
INEC said the release of Form EC 60A Notice of Elections is in accordance with section 30 of the Electoral Act 2010 as amended.
“Please note that the place for the delivery of nomination papers for the elective offices shall be the commission’s headquarters, Maitama, Abuja,” it added.
