By Nuel Suji – Former Military President, Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida has dispelled the rumour of his death, saying he is “hale and hearty”.
Babangida spoke from Germany where he is believed to be receiving treatment.
The rumour of IBB’s death became riffed early this week especially on social media.
IBB broke silence on live programme on Television Continental, TVC, this evening, saying where he told TVC crew on phone from Germany that “I am alive.”
Speaking with the anchor person on the programme, ‘Journalist Hangout,’ IBB said he is hale and hearty and not dead as being speculated.
Babangida told the TVC crew that he would soon return to the country.
IBB has recently been struggling with frail health.
