Taiwo Ogunjobi, Ex-NFF Scribe Is Dead

By Sadiq Umar – A former Secretary-General of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Taiwo Ogunjobi is dead.

Until his death, Ogunjobi was the Chairman of Osun State Football Association.

He also served as Special Assistant to immediate past Osun Governor Rauf Aregbesola.

Confirming the passing away of its former scribe in a tweet on Monday, NFF wrote:

“We are sad to announce the shock demise of former Nigeria Int’l, Ex-NFF Gen. Sec., former NFF Executive Committee member, and current chairman, Osun State FA, Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi after a brief illness. Our prayers are with his family, relatives and the football family in Nigeria.”

The Personal Assistant, Tunde Samsudeen who is the Public Relations officer of Osun United FC, has also confirmed his passing.

“Former @thenff Secretary-General and OSUN FA boss, Chief Taiwo Joseph Ogunjobi, is dead,” Mr. Samsudeen wrote on Twitter.
