The military authorities said it has deployed officers and men to Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State, which came under attack of suspected Boko Haram insurgents recently.
The Coordinator of the National Briefing Centre, Mr. Mike Omeri, who disclosed this in Abuja, said that the deployment is to prevent further attacks.
Omeri also said that efforts are on to intercept the attackers and bring them to justice. He, however, sounded a note of warning to the public, urging them to be observant of happenings in their immediate environment.
“Citizens are hereby advised to be extra vigilant and conscious of their immediate environment as a way of ensuring effective security monitoring for the good of all,” he said.
