News Investigators/ The Presidential Election Petition Court has fixed Wednesday 6, September 2023 as the judgement day in the legal dispute over the last presidential election.
The judgement would be delivered in a matter between the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), presidential flagbearer, Atiku Abubakar, his Labour Party (LP) counterpart, Peter Obi and All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu and Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and others.
A statement by the Chief Registrar, Umar Bangari said “in a bid to promote transparency and openness, the court proceedings would be televised live.
He advised journalists who seeks to cover the event to approach the court for accreditation.
“Access to the Court would be strictly on accreditation. Only accredited individuals, counsels and representatives of political parties would be grated access to the courtroom. Interested members of the public are advised to watch proceedings from the television set,” Mr. Bangari said.
