News Investigators/ Tbe Supreme Court has affirmed the election of Muhammad Yahaya, as Governor of Gombe State, dismissing the appeal filed by Jibrin Barde of the Peoples Democratic Party for lack of merit.
A five-member panel of the apex court led by Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun affirmed the decision of the court of appeal.
Similarly, the Apex Court ruled in favour of Governor Abdillahi Sule of Nasarawa, confirming his election as winner of the 2923 governorship election in the state.
