Herbert Wigwe, Wife, Son, Abimbola Ogunbajo Feared Dead In Chopper Crash

News Investigators/ The Chief Executive Officer of Access Holdings Plc, Herbert Wigwe, was involved in a helicopter crash in the United States on Friday.

Unconfirmed reports say the chopper was headed to Las Vegas when it crashed near a border city between Nevada and California on Friday night.

Mr. Wigwe, his wife and son, were in the helicopter when it crashed in California near the Nevada border.

They were reportedly in company of the former Group Chairman of Nigerian Exchange Group Plc (NGX Group), Abimbola Ogunbanjo.

Six passengers were onboard. However, no survivors have been found so far.

Just recently late Wigwe came under heavy criticisms over payment of school fees in dollars in in his university, Wigwe University, Isiokpo Rivers State.

However, the University defended its decision saying its home students would pay their fees in Naira.

It further explained that its decision for select dollar payment was a strategic one which aligns with its vision to attract a diverse and international student body.
