News Investigators/ Enyioma Okoronkwo, the Resident Pastor, Victory Family Church, Abakaliki, has called on Christians to strive for the betterment of others.

Okoronkwo made the call on Friday in Abakaliki to commemorate the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ.

The clergyman said that sober reflection on the circumstances that necessitated the death of Jesus Christ for mankind would bring total liberation in all endeavors.

He urged the people to have a change of attitude and positively impact the lives of the less privileged in the society.

“Jesus Christ laid his life without having any personal interest, but for the good of mankind.

“It is important we follow the path of Jesus Christ and desist from being self-centred and greedy,” Okeke said.

Another Christian faithful, Mrs Rose Uguru, prayed for the country’s progress and urged politicians and others in authority to focus more on assisting the needy in the society.
