BREAKING: Buhari Returns Friday, Says Presidency

By Nuel Suji- President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to return to the country tomorrow, Friday March 10, 2017, the Presidency has announced.

Buhari’s planned return was announced in a statement by Presidential Spokesman, Femi Adesina, Thursday evening.

It is not clear whether the President would be arriving via the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja which was official closed midnight Wednesday or the improvised Kaduna Airport.

Buhari has been on vacation at the United Kingdom where he was attending to his health.

Earlier, Thursday, he was visited by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby at the Abuja House in London.

President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to return to the country tomorrow, Friday March 10, 2017.

The President left the country on January 19, 2017 for a vacation, during which he had routine medical check-ups. The holiday was extended based on doctors’ recommendation for further tests and rest.

President Buhari expresses appreciation to teeming Nigerians from across the country, and beyond, who had prayed fervently for him, and also sent their good wishes.
