“We Have Enough To Campaign With Against A Failure Like Aiyedatiwa” – Akindele To Ilutitun PDP Leaders

News Investigators/ Former Caretaker Chairman of Osun State People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Adekunle Akindele has decried the abysmal state of governance in Ondo State. He said this while addressing leaders of the three wards in his hometown of Ilutitun Osooro, Okitipupa LG of Ondo State.

“We have never had it this bad since this State was founded. We have a government who has lost touch with realities. The November 16th gubernatorial election affords us the opportunity to return our beloved Ondo State to the right path of economic and developmental recovery.

“The failure of the incumbent has given us enough materials to campaign with and I can assure you that with a credible candidate in Agboola Alfred Ajayi, whose experience, exposure and capacity to transform the state, coupled with your absolute support will ensure victory for the Party.” he said while addressing Chairmen, vice chairmen, secretaries, youth and women leaders, and 5 leaders each from the Wards.

“We have a winning formula from our education in Osun electoral school of thought and I am certain that if we work with the right strategy and determination, we will win. To get power, you must be prepared and that’s why we will invest in training our agents while sustaining the momentum in all units with regular meetings.” he added.

Earlier, the Ondo South Senatorial chairman of PDP, Elder Fadope thanked Dr. ‘Kunle Akindele for his continued show of support and regular guidance. “Regularly, you have extended hands of support to us and we are grateful for it. We know we can win and we will continue to do our best to ensure we get the best out of the expectations of the masses who are tired of the misrule of the ruling Party.”

The meeting had in attendance the Chairman of the Party in Okitipupa local government, Hon. ‘Dangote’ Adewo, Hon. Sunday Igbasan, Hon. Adele Enikanselu, Hon. Olumekun, Ward Chairmen, vice chairmen, secretaries, youth and women leaders of Ilutitun Wards 1, 2 and 3.
