WE DON’T HAVE ANY CAMP IN ENUGU EZIKE –IPOB TELLS POLICE

By John Ugo, Awka

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) on Tuesday denied having any camp in Enugu Ezike and anywhere around Enugu state.

It urged the Nigeria Police force, particularly, Enugu state police command to desist from dragging IPOB into something it knows nothing about due to what it described as  unwarranted hatred the Force has against members the body and its security arm, the Eastern Security Network (ESN).

Director of Media and Publicity Secretary of IPOB, Comrade Emma Powerful made the comment in a statement made available to journalists in Awka Anambra’ state.

“Nigeria Police should stop dragging IPOB into something we know nothing about because of their unwarranted hatred against IPOB members and ESN Operatives.”

“IPOB wants to state clearly to Enugu State Police Commissioner and their personnel that ESN has no camp in Enugu Ezike and anywhere around that area.”

“ESN under IPOB-DOS don’t go after those who have no problem us or our people. We remain a peaceful movement seeking freedom from Nigeria State and can only go after murderous fulani terrorists in our bushes.

Pursuing Police and other Security Agents operating in Enugu State or Biafraland is not our problem because we are fully committed to the restoration of Biafra freedom and independence.”
