News Investigators/ The Police Command in Niger has confirmed the killing of four people by unidentified armed men in Godoro and Angwan-Bisala communities under Katako District of Rafi LGA.
The command’s Spokesperson, SP Wasiu Abiodun, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that the incident happened on Wednesday, September 23.
Abiodun stated that two other people, injured during the attack, were taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
According to him, armed men attacked the two communities at about 1:30am, killing four people and leaving two others seriously injured.
He added that the police had visited the scene of the attacks and investigation into the incident had commenced.
