News Investigators/ Ahead of the 2023 Population and Housing Census exercise, the National Orientation Agency (NOA) says adequate measures is being put in place to ensure a hitch-free exercise.

The NOA director in Lagos state, Adetola Adegboyega, who spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Lagos, however, said there was no clear-cut information yet on the taking off of the exercise.

The Lagos state director said the sensitisation is going on well, saying “it is a continuous exercise for NOA and a state sensitisation programme was held by the National Committee on Census on April 18.

“During the programme, officials of NOA were adequately mobilised for the event, and the idea is to make sure that everything goes well and is successful during the exercise.

“Everyone will be counted in their various homes and there can not be any duplication because the process is digital,” she added.

Mr Adegboyega, who noted that the counting would be done digitally, however, expressed uncertainty on the schedule and timing of activities.
