An Aljazeera report monitored in Abuja, Thursday evening said one of the bombers detonated its explosive right inside the mosque while the other went off outside the mosque.
The explosion occurred at about 6:20pm, barely two days after an earlier suicide attack killed seven in Maiduguri.
The actual casualty figure was not clear as at the time of this report, sources said about 14 dead were counted outside the mosque.
Details of the casualties could not be immediately ascertained.
Just yesterday, President Muhammadu Buhari reassured the nation that Boko Haram would be stamped out of Nigeria territory by December.
The President gave the assurance at an audience with the Commander of United States Africa Command, Gen David Rodriguez.
