News Investigators/ President Bola Tinubu on Thursday approved the appointment of Lanre Issa-Onilu as the Director General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA).
Mr. Tinubu, in his latest appointment, also named Ali Mohammed Ali as the new Chief Executive of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
A statement by Presidential Spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale , Thursday in Abuja, named six other new Chief Executive Officers for Parastatals and Agencies under the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation.
They are: Salihu Abdulhamid Dembos as Director-General Nigerian Television Authority (NTA); Muhammed Bulama as DG/CEO, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) and Charles Ebuebu as DG/CEO, National Broadcasting Commission (NBC).
Also, Jibrin Baba Ndace was named Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of Voice of Nigeria (VON)
Others are: Lekan Fadolapo and Dili Ezughan were appointed Director-General and Executive Secretary of the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON) and Nigerian Press Council (NPC) respectively.
“The President tasks the newly entrusted leadership in these important sub-sectors to innovate and create new opportunities for Nigerians to leverage upon through the effective reform of these key institutions of government which function to unify our people, reshape mindsets, and showcase this great nation to the rest of the world.
“By these directives of the President, the above listed appointments take immediate effect,” Mr. Ngelale stated.
