SEX VIDEO: POLICE ARRAIGN FOUR TEACHERS OF CHRISLAND SCHOOLS

The Lagos State Police Command on Tuesday, before the Magistrate Court sitting in the Yaba, Lagos State, arraigned four teachers of the Chrisland Schools who accompanied some students involved in a viral sex video on a trip to Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.

The teachers are Oladotun Sotunde, Elesho Tajudeen, Rhoda Olanipekun and Ajiboye Hammed.

The teachers’ arrangement is sequel to the controversial immoral behavior of the students of the school during their international excursion on World School Games in Dubia, UAE.

The Network gathered that the teachers are facing charges of alleged conspiracy and conduct said to cause a breach of public peace.

The charges read, “That you, Oladotun Sotunde, Elesho Tajudeen, Rhoda Olanipekun, Ajiboye Hammed, on or before 25th day of April, 2022, at Chrisland School, Victoria Garden City, Idimu, Lagos, in the Lagos Magisterial District, did conspire among yourselves to commit felony, to wit: conduct likely to cause breach of the peace and indecent practices among your school pupils during their participation in the World School Games, thereby committing an offence punishable under Section 411 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.

“That you, Oladotun Sotunde, Elesho Tajudeen, Rhoda Olanipekun, Ajiboye Hammed, on or before 25th day of April, 2022, at Chrisland School, Victoria Garden City, Idimu, Lagos, in the Lagos State Magisterial District, having returned from the World School Games, involving your students, did intentionally obstruct, prevent, pervert or defeat the course of justice by concealing the indecent acts of your school girl sex video among the students before it went viral, thereby, committing an offence punishable under the Section 97 (1) (3) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.”

After the charges were read, the defendants pleaded not guilty to the two count charges.

Ademola Animashaun, who led the defence team, sought for bail in liberal terms.

However, Chief Magistrate, Adeola Olatunbosun, admitted the defendants to bail in the sum of N300,000 each, with three sureties in like sum.

The case was adjourned till June 16, 2022.

Last month, the video of a 10-year-old female student of Chrisland Schools Lagos, allegedly raped by fellow students during a trip to Dubai, surfaced on social media, after it was shared by a music manager, Ubi Franklin, on his social media accounts.

Following the controversial video on social media, the Lagos State Police Command carried out an investigation into the incident.

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, in a statement, said that the investigation, was going to establish the identities of the students in the video, the true incident in the video, and the geographical location of the incident.

According to the Command’s statement, the investigation would also cover the alleged threat to life against a student of the school and circumstances surrounding the alleged repeated pregnancy tests conducted on a student without parental consent by the school authority.
