Saraki Vows To Investigate Abandoned N500m NASS TV Studio

By Nuel Suji, Abuja – Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki has vowed to probe into an abandoned National Assembly Television (NASS TV) studio estimated to worth over N500 million.Nigerian National Assembly
The NASStv which is located inside National Assembly premises, was discovered last week‎ during a tour of the facilities within the National Assembly complex.
Saraki said that he was informed that up to N500 million was spent on the project by the 7th Senate.
Said he: “I was told up to N500 million was spent on it. We will look into it to find out the true situation of things”.
‎On Buhari anti-corruption war, the Senate President assured that the National Assembly would continue to support President Muhammadu Buhari‎ by enacting appropriate laws and ensuring proper oversight to government agencies.
“We support it and will continue to do so by enacting appropriate laws and giving proper oversight .
 “We have kick-started process of restoring public trust, the 8th Senate will only make people oriented decisions”.
