Delta State Police Command has confirmed the killing of the chairman of Achievers Group, an All Progressives Congress, APC, Support Group, Sylvester Efeurhobo, in Agbarho, Delta State.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Delta State Command, DSP Bright Edafe, who confirmed the killing affirmed that three suspects have been apprehended in connection with the gruesome murder.
He said the investigation is ongoing. He said, “Confirmed, we are still investigating. So far, three suspects have been arrested”.
Hired assassins allegedly killed the leader of the support group when they invades his residence in Agbarho, Ughelli North Local Government Area of the State.
Those who knows Efeurhobo alluded the fact that he was “dedicated party faithful, a brother and father, generous to the bone”.
Members of his Support Group are asking for justice and insisting that the police, must “fish out the hooligans and ensure that justice takes its due course in the matter”.
“The perpetrators should be brought to book, as we do mourn the deceased”, the party leaders stated.
