…Urges Nigerians to Show Anger Against APC with Voters Cards

Onyedi Igwe, Port Harcourt

The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, has said that his Bayelsa counterpart, Senator Douye Diri, would secure a second tenure with his performance and delivery of infrastructure in the state.

Wike spoke at the inauguration of the
3.5km Mgbuoshimini-Nkpor road, Rumuolumeni, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of the state by Governor Diri.

Wike, called on the Nigerians to get their voters’ cards and kick out the All Progressives Congress in 2023.

He said that the APC only gave Nigerians a government of hunger, poverty and insecurity which should be rejected.

Wike said that the PDP will bring to an end the hardship foisted on the country by the APC and its government:

He called on Nigerians to show their tiredness with the APC-led government by deploying the voter’s card against them in 2023.

He asked the people to demonstrate their tiredness and aversion for bad leadership by using their voters’ cards to remove the APC from office in 2023.

“If this crowd that has come out here will come out in 2023, the election will be free. If you don’t change the bad government, you too, you are part of the bad government.

“So, use your voters’ cards to throw away this government at the federal level that has killed Nigeria. That has made hunger, and poverty to be everywhere.

“People don’t have jobs, hard economy policy that does not work. But by the grace of God, PDP will change all these.”

In his remarks, Diri commended Wike for the massive infrastructural development in Rivers State.

He said that Wike has simplified governance with the sustained development and transformation in Rivers State.

He said that the Rivers State Governor has raised a bar of governance with the judicious implementation of his urban renewal programme.

He said: “Today, I can tell you that Governor Wike has simplified governance. Most of us who lived in Port Harcourt before now, if we come back now, we will lose our way. This is because the governor has turned Port Harcourt with his urban renewal policies to something different.

“And as I was coming, I was a victim because I kept asking where are we? Which flyover is this one? And so, he is also Mr. Flyover.

“Governor Wike has set a very high bar for governance in Rivers State. Those who want to take over, please, go back end think because this bar that has been set, if you don’t meet it , the people will stone you.” He said
