OONI OF IFE TO MARRY TWO WIVES IN OCTOBER

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi is positioned to marry two more wives this October in a traditional wedding ceremony.

According to the invitation cards trending on social media, the Ooni of Ife is marrying, Tobi Phillips and Ashley Adegoke before his 48th birthday this month.

She will betrothed to the Ooni on Friday, October 14, 2022.

These marriages are coming after acquiring his fourth wife, Olori Mariam Anako, a Queen from Ebira in Kogi State.

He had before the Kogi born Anako, married Olori Elizabeth Opeoluwa Ogunwusi, nee Akinmuda in Magodo, Lagos.

It was gathered that Tobi Phillips is a graduate of Marine Science from the University of Lagos and a former Beauty Queen.

According to the plan of the Ooni, the Olori would be replacing Olori Zainab Wuraola who walked away from her marriage to the Ooni

Recall that the Ooni had before now married Prophetess Silekunola Naomi, but the marriage ended in December 2021.

According to the biodata of Queen Ashley, she is a chartered accountant and currently runs an NGO that caters to less privileged kids and widows through the Ashley Adegoke Foundation.

She has a Masters in Accounting and Finance from the University of Greenwich, and currently runs her businesses in the United Kingdom.

According to reports, Queen Ashley is a divorcee and from the Lafogido royal house. She allegedly had a child from her former marriage.

Her late father, Jacob Adebiyi Adegoke was a Prince of Ife.

During his private life, the Ooni was married to Adebukola Bombata in 2008 but the marriage failed and having become the traditional ruler of Ife, Ooni took an Edo-born Zainab-Otiti Obanor in 2016, but the union lasted for 17 months before their separation.

In her stead, OONI replaced her with Silekunola in 2018 and the marriage produced a son before the divorce announcement in December.
