No Going Back On March 26th APC Convention – CECPCP Spokesman, 
Bello, Akpanudoedehehe’s Absence At Crucial Meeting Stirs Concerns 

The All Progressives Congress  seems to be reeling deeper in crisis as indicated by  the absence of the Acting Chairman of the Party’s Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee  and Niger State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello, and National Secretary of Senator John  Akpanudoehehe at the leadership and stakeholders meeting held on Tuesday in Abuja. 
This is as the APC said that there is no going back on the March 26th date for the Party’s National Convention as agreed by leaders and members of the paty.
It also declared that there would be no separate zonal Congresses as earlier scheduled rather everything would held same day on March 26, in Abuja.
The APC National Youth Leader,  snd Spokesperson of the CECPC, Barrister Ismaeel Ahmed, stated this during a press conference held on Tuesday in Abuja.
He said that, “There’ll be no separate zonal Congress, apart from the national convention. All would happen on the same day. Of course, we expect stakeholders at every zone to meet and decide on certain things.”
According to Ishmael “Like I said on Friday that the zonal Congresses now will be moved to national convention so all happen on the 26th of March on Saturday.”

He clarified that apart the forms for the positions of the National Chairman and that of the Deputy national chairman South and North whose prices had been stated, *All other positions of NEC: deputy positions that are non-zonal, and non-NWC would be sold at on million naira. All positions at the zonal level, with the exception of the National Vice Chairman, which is also a member of NWC would be sold at 500,000 naira.”
“Convention is still 26th of March, sacrosanct. We’re still moving on toward it. And we’re looking forward to it and we’re going to be having our NEC meeting on Thursday the 17th of March Thank you very much,” he said.
On the absence of the Secretary of the CECPC, Senator John Akpanudoedehe, the APC Youth Leader explained that, “Well, I don’t know. I’m not in control of his itinerary. He doesn’t speak to me before he comes to the office. He doesn’t speak to me when he’s leaving so I don’t know why he is not here. I’m not even aware that he was in office today. I thought he had travelled.”
