Nnamdi Kanu Weeps Over killings in South-East by Simon Ekpa & co

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has reportedly wept in prison over the spate of gunmen attacks and killings in the Southeast by people suspected to loyalists to Simon Ekpa,a fallen angel of the separatist group.

Kanu expressed sadness and strongly condemned the attacks across the Southeast.

Some members of his legal team disclosed this after visiting him at the prison facility of the Department of State Services in Abuja.

The IPOB leader also condoled victims of the attacks.

One of his lawyers said: “Update: I had a visitation with MNK today, with profound sadness, he received news of the staggered attacks of past few days across Southeast, including the one at my hometown, he asked me to strongly condemn the attacks on his behalf & convey his comfort to all the victims.”

Some unknown gunmen have been attacking communities, markets, and government facilities in the Southeast lately.

Over the weekend, these unknown gunmen had attacked Ejimakor’s hometown in Imo tate.

They had also attacked INEC’s office in Imo state severally.
