The Champion of Democracy Award will be given to one of the major actors of the last general elections in Nigeria, while the best Nigerian brand award will be given to the Nigerian brand with the best people-friendly packages.

The Best Pen award will be broken into three categories for print, broadcast and new media and will be determined by seasoned journalists and top media practitioners drawn from all over Nigeria.
The organisers informed that one of the three winners in this category will go home with a whooping N250k cash prize, for a job well done.
Meanwhile, there is another development as regards the registration and accommodation fees contrary to the initial information made public.
Speaking about the new package for intending participants, Olayemi, a renowned media guru told journalists in Lagos that, “this is as a result of people’s calls since we announced the seminar and awards event.
“We are merging the accommodation and registration fees and we are asking those who are interested to reach out to us with the contacts on the initial seminar/awards link made public a few weeks ago.”
While stating that the interest of the participants remains paramount to the organisers, the vastly-experienced publisher noted that those who are interested in other benefits have to make that known early enough to avoid any form of last minute rush.
The international seminar/awards will hold at the swanky Pfister Hotel and WELL Spa Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States and will span three days (28-30 October, 2016).
The event is conceived to examine current socio-economic and political developments in Nigeria and Africa, and to celebrate public office holders and business executives, who have excelled in their respective fields.
