NECO Announces New Policy, ₦50,000 Fee For Certificate Reprints, Correction Deadline

News Investigators/ The National Examinations Council (NECO) has introduced a new policy regarding certificate reprint and corrections on certificates.

Candidates will now be required to pay ₦50,000 to reprint their certificates.

The new policy was disclosed to journalists by the NECO Registrar, Dantani Wushishi, in Minna, Niger State.

Mr. Wushishi, a professor, further revealed that the ₦50,000 fee for reprinting certificates is subject to periodic review.

Additionally, requests for reprints will only be entertained within one year of the original certificate issuance. Beyond this period, the council will no longer process such requests.

Furthermore, NECO has introduced a one-month window for candidates to request corrections to their results, starting from the official release date of the results.

This new policy marks a significant change in how NECO handles certificate reprints and result corrections.
