NDA Conducts Classification Exercise For Cadets, Alerts Residents, Farmers

News Investigators/ The The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) says it is conducting range classification exercise for cadets of 73 Regular Course, urging the residents and  farmers not to panic.

Maj. Mohammed Maidawa made the announcement in a statement issued on Saturday in Kaduna.

Maidawa said,”NDA  wishes to inform the public and surrounding communities that a range classification exercise will take place for the Cadets of the 73 Regular Course from July 14-18  at the NDA Open Range. “

According to him, the four-day exercise is designed to enhance the cadets’ skills in live firing scenarios and will be instrumental in their training and preparedness.

“We kindly urge the local residents and communities to be aware of the exercise schedule and not to be alarmed by the sounds associated with live firing activities during this period.

“We strongly advise farmers, herders, and residents to avoid entering or trespassing into the NDA Open Range and surrounding areas from July 14 -18.

“Public safety is our priority and adhering to these guidelines will help prevent any accidents.
