NAPOC Hails Appointment Of Tunde Rahman, Pledges Support


The National Association of Political Correspondents, (NAPOC) has hailed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the appointment of one of its members and publishers of defunct Western Post Newspaper, Babatunde Rahman as Senior Special Assistant on Media, describing it as well-deserved.

NAPOC, in a congratulatory letter to Mr. Rahman also expressed delight in the new appointment, assuring of his devotion and loyalty  to serve in his new assignment.

The letter jointly signed by NAPOC’s Coordinating Committee Chairman, Deba Uwadiae, Vice Chair, Hauwa Maina MaajiLawan and Secretary Abduljelili Adebayo, assured Mr. Rahman of support and best wishes.

The letter read in part: “We wish to congratulate Alhaji Babatunde Rahman on your well-deserved appointment as the Senior Special Assistant (Media) to the 16th President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“As a member of the National Association of Political Correspondents, we are proud of this appointment and have no doubt of your continued devotion and loyalty to serve and work conscientiously with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in delivering expected services to the people of Nigeria.
