Mohbad: Lagos Police declare Owodunni Ibrahim, Primeboy wanted, 

•••Places N1m Bounty on Him

The Lagos State Police Command has declared Mr Owodunni Ibrahim, alias Primeboy, wanted in connection with the controversial death  of singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

The spokesman of the Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, a Superintendent of Police, said  on his X handle on Wednesday that the police was forced to declare Primeboy wanted because he refused to honour invitation sent to him in connection with the ongoing investigation into the death of Mohbad.

Operatives of the Nigerian police had arrested the Marlian Record Label’s owner, Afeez Fashola, professionally known as Naira Marley over the death Mohbad on Tuesday.

The Police Public Relations Officer in charge of the  Lagos State Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, disclosed the arrest of Naira Markey on his X account on Tuesday.

“Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley has been taken into custody for interrogation and other investigation activities.” He said 

The death of the singer had triggered widespread outrage among  the youths who accuse Afeez Fashola, (Naira Marley) and Sam Larry for Mohbad’s death.

Although both Naira Marley and SamLarry have denied the accusations, and have demanded investigations into his death, some radio stations have banned the Marlian music in their stations.

The Police had earlier arrested Sam Larry in connection with the death of Mohbad.

Naira Marley who is being held as the investigation into the suspicious death of Mohbad intensifies returned to the country to cooperate with the authorities in the investigation.

“I’d like to share that I’ve just arrived back in Lagos, Nigeria to assist the authorities with the ongoing investigation.

“It’s important I do my part for Imole. I’ll be meeting with the police with hopes for the truth to be uncovered and for justice to prevail.” He tweeted on Tuesday.
