Many people were in the early hours of Thursday feared dead and several civil servants injured as a train crushed a Lagos state government staff bus at PWD area of the state.
It was gathered that the incident occurred at about 7 a.m.
The spokesperson of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, (LASTMA), Taofiq Adebayo, confirmed the sad incident.
He said that rescue operation was ongoing.
“The accident recorded many casualties as the staff bus is fully loaded with government officials going to office this morning,” Adebayo said.
