LG Congress: Members Agree On Consensus In Ikorodu

Stakeholders and members of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in Ikorodu division have agreed on consensus for the representatives at the Local Government Area (LGA) executives and National convention.

They reached the agreement during the APC congress at the Party secretariat at Ota-Ona area on Saturday in Ikorodu, Lagos state.

Speaking at the congress, Gbenga Oshin, Chairman screening committee, urged members to ensure their Permanent Voters Card(PVC) are well kept for the elections that were fast approaching.

He urged them to be law abiding and conduct themselves peacefully during the elections.

Earlier Mr Olanrewaju Kuye, Secretary,  screening committee, commended the electorate for having confidence in the existing executives and giving it a new mandate.

“We did consensus and the electorate agreed with us.

“They ratified those that have served once to continue because they have confidence in them,” he said.

In his remarks, Alhaji Shakiru Oluwo, an APC member, said they threw their weight behind the elected executives and commend them for a job well-done at the LGA.
